Beloved husband of Senaida (nee Cosio) Madera; loving father of Osbaldo (Andrea Gomez) Madera, Daysi (Alejandro Carrera) Madera, and Jose (Cynthia) Madera; proud grandfather Jose Luis Carrera, Angel Carrera, Axel Carrera, Jazmin Madera, Osbaldo Madera Jr, Giovanni Madera, and Deylani Madera; brother, uncle, and friend to many.
Jose had a deep love for music, which played a meaningful role throughout his life. He found joy in coaching, playing, and watching baseball-a passion he readily shared with others. Known for his generous spirit, Jose was always there to lend a hand to a friend in need. More than anything, he cherished the time spent with his grandchildren, who were the light of his life.
Visitation Thursday May 8, 2025, from 3 - 8 PM at Hickey Memorial Chapel 4201 W. 147th St. Midlothian, IL 60445. Funeral Friday 9:30 AM Prayers at the funeral home going to St Christopher Church - St Augustine Parish for 10 AM Funeral Mass. Interment St Casimir Cemetery.

Amado esposo de Senaida (de soltera Cosio) Madera; amado padre de Osbaldo (Andrea Gómez) Madera, Daysi (Alejandro Carrera) Madera y José (Cynthia) Madera; orgulloso abuelo de José Luis Carrera, Ángel Carrera, Axel Carrera, Jazmín Madera, Osbaldo Madera Jr., Giovanni Madera y Deylani Madera; hermano, tío y amigo de muchos.
José sentía un profundo amor por la música, que jugó un papel fundamental en su vida. Encontraba alegría entrenando, jugando y viendo béisbol, una pasión que compartía con gusto. Conocido por su generosidad, José siempre estaba dispuesto a ayudar a un amigo necesitado. Más que nada, apreciaba el tiempo que pasaba con sus nietos, quienes eran la luz de su vida. Velación el jueves 8 de mayo de 2025, de 3 a 8 p.m. en Hickey Memorial Chapel 4201 W. 147th St. Midlothian, IL 60445. Funeral el viernes a las 9:30 a.m. Oraciones en la funeraria yendo a la Iglesia de San Cristóbal - Parroquia de San Agustín para la misa funeral a las 10 a.m. Entierro en el cementerio de San Casimiro.
