Jose Maldonado, 71, of Mineral Wells, Texas, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on September 17, 2025. Born on April 3, 1954, in Mexico City, Mexico. A devoted husband, father, and Abuelo, he left behind a lasting legacy of quiet strength and selfless love. His family was his pride and greatest joy, and those closest to him will forever cherish the memories and love they shared together.
Jose is survived by his beloved wife, Elvira Melguizo Maldonado, and his three sons, Jose (Claudia) Maldonado, Carlos (Amy) Maldonado, and Manuel (Denise) Maldonado. His beloved Grandchildren Fernando Maldonado, Abigail Maldonado, Ricardo Maldonado, Nicholas Maldonado, Penelope Maldonado and Julieta Maldonado, he also leaves behind numerous extended family members. He was predeceased by his parents, Alfredo Maldonado and Maria Venegas.
A memorial service for Jose is currently being planned by his family and will be announced at a later time.
