Jose Luis Morales

Jose "Chapo" Luis Morales of Stamford CT passed away on November 9, 2024. He was 45 years old.
Born and raised in Stamford, Jose was the beloved son of the late Jose A. Morales and Dominga Gonzalez. He attended Stamford Public Schools and went on to work as a dedicated facilities supervisor.
Jose is survived by his devoted wife, Kerri Morales, and his five cherished children: Sumaya Spruill, Isan Spruill, Aliaha Melendez, Joaquin Spruill and Naima Spruill. He was a proud grandfather to his grandson, Parise Lovett.
He is also lovingly remembered by his five brothers: David Colon, Juan Mendez (Rachel), Javier Crespo, Tony Crespo (Keisha), and Pablo Bauza, Jr.; and three sisters: Christina Lacurt, Melanie Serrano, and Michelle Mejicanos. Additionally, Jose is survived by a large extended family of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
Jose's warm smile and lively spirit lit up any room he entered. He had a genuine love for spending time with his family and friends, sharing laughter and making unforgettable memories. He found peace in the great outdoors and took pride in supporting his favorite teams, the NY Knicks and Jets.

Jose's presence will be deeply missed, but his legacy of love, kindness, and resilience will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him.
Visitation and Prayer services will be held on Tuesday, November 19th at Bosak Funeral Home, 453 Shippan Avenue, Stamford, CT from 9am – 11am with prayer services to commence at 11am. Interment will follow at St. John Cemetery, 25 Camp Avenue, Darien, CT.
