Joselito Arriero De Castro November 20, 1960 - June 10, 2025
Joselito Arriero De Castro, 64 years old, passed away peacefully on Tuesday morning, June 10, 2025, at his residence in Houston, Texas. He was born on November 20, 1960, in Lopez, Quezon, Philippines, the eldest son of Sixto de las Alas De Castro and Elly Oriel Arriero. He is Boyet within his family and among friends, and JAC in his workplace. He moved with his wife and son to Houston in 1994. A devoted husband, father, son, and "kuya"(older brother), he led an exemplary life, setting the bar high for his younger siblings who held him in high esteem and with whom he shared a solid bond.
Boyet will be remembered for his generous spirit, sharp mind, and unwavering willingness to help and teach others. He built a successful career as an IT professional, where his patience, expertise, and dedication left a lasting impact on colleagues and friends alike.
Outside of work, Boyet found joy in cycling and trading stocks-pursuits that reflected his energy, discipline, and curiosity. He was a man who lived with purpose and passion, always eager to lend a hand or share his knowledge with those around him.
Boyet is survived by his beloved wife, Arleen; their cherished son, Jacob; his "second mom", Ate Helen and husband Richard; his siblings (and their spouses), Wil (and Nae), Larry (and Annieglen), Lovell (and Lito), Manny (and Cris), and Ronald (and Jesselle); his cousin, Sheena (and her husband, Jeremy); his nephews and nieces; and his extended family and friends, all of whom will miss him dearly.
A memorial will be held by the family to honor his life and legacy. To send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of Joselito, please visit our floral store.
