Dr. Joselito L. Millan M.D.

Dr. Joselito "Lito" Millan, 86, of Ponte Vedra Beach, FL, passed away at home on February 4, 2025. Born March 5, 1938, in Lobo, Batangas Philippines, he was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather.
A respected neurosurgeon, Lito practiced in Louisville, KY, New Albany and Jeffersonville, IN. He spent most of his career in Sellersburg, IN, while residing on his cherished Maharlika Farms. He was known for his skill, compassion, and dedication to his patients. He found joy in breeding, training & racing thoroughbred horses and spending time at Churchill Downs.
Lito is survived by his wife of 27 years, Carla; children Maria (Seth) Pois, Tahra Millan (Shawn Rogan), Matthew (Heather) Kennedy, Lindsay (Ryan) Walden, Jerson "Reiley" Millan, and Valentin "Rowan" Millan; and seven grandchildren; Zoie, Eustace, Benigna, Ava, Austin, Bryan, and Addison.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Primitivo and Mercedes Millan; sister, Zenaida Cadungog; children, Jerrett and Karla; and grandson, Zander.
A celebration of his life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association (https://www.alz.org/) in his memory.
