AMBRUSO, Joseph P., passed away on May 31, 2023. He was 91. Beloved brother of the late Rita Mulroy, Adeline Moffa and Marianne Corradetti. He is lovingly survived by many nieces and nephews and their families. He is the son of the late Frank and Mary Ambruso.
Mr. Ambruso was most recently of Linwood NJ, formerly of North Camden, Pennsauken and Marlton. He was a graduate of the Woodrow Wilson High School and a proud veteran of the US NAVY. For many years, he owned and operated Ambruso Beauty Shop on Westfield Avenue in Pennsauken. He enjoyed his membership with the Sons of Italy and loved to play tennis. Joe was an avid Philadelphia Eagles Fan and enjoyed his season tickets for many years. He will be dearly missed!
Relatives and friends are invited to the viewing on Tuesday June 6 from 10-10:45am at the St. Joan of Arc Church 99 Evans Road Marlton where a Mass of christian Burial will be celebrated at 11am. Entombment to follow at Calvary Cemetery, Cherry Hill. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Joe's memory to Journey Hospice www.journeyhospicenj.org
