Joseph M. Bemis

Joseph M. Bemis, 36, passed away on Sunday, April 28, 2024 in Kenosha, WI. He was born August 7, 1987 in Waukegan, IL, was a current resident of Kenosha and a US Army Veteran serving in the Iraq War. Joe attended Blackwell Trade School Laona, WI and was employed as a general contractor at Stadler Company in Mt. Pleasant, WI. He enjoyed video games, building computers, being outdoors, spending time with family & friends and especially loved his dog, Major.
Surviving is his father, Miroslav "Mike" Pokimica; mother, Kim (Parke) Peterson; siblings, Erich (Kelly) Horton, Dan Stadler, Rob (Jenny) Stadler, Nick (Kristina) Stadler, Chris Pokimica & Anna Pokimica and by many nieces and nephews.
A visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. followed by a service at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 8, 2024 at St. Sava Serbian Orthodox Monastery, 32377 N. Milwaukee Ave. in Libertyville.
