Joseph Brophy Obituary
Joseph M. Brophy passed away January 3, 2026. A native Staten Islander, Joseph was born on May 5, 1941. Preceded in death were his mother Helen and father James. A graduate of St. Peter's Highschool. He attended Manhattan College before joining the Navy. Upon his honorable discharge from the Navy, he worked as a computer programmer for various companies before retiring from Mount Sinai Hospital. He is survived by his sister Dorothy Bruen and brother Edward, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Friends and family are invited to the viewing on Tuesday January 6th 2 to 6pm at the Hanley Funeral Home (60 New Dorp Lane, Staten Island, NY 10306).
A Service will be held at 6:00pm at the funeral home.
