It is with a heavy heart that Ive learned of my longtime friend Joe's passing. Although in later years we didn't see much of each other you all were in our thoughts. We know he is reunited with his Mother, Father and wonderful Grandfather. Our deepest sympathies, we wish we could be there.

Loved working with Joe during his time in Tewksbury. Probably the kindest gentle man I have met!

"Mr. Buckley" was one of my trumpet teachers while in Tewksbury. I went on to teach music myself for a few years and I still play (age 74). "Mr. Buckley" was just the nicest person you could know, which was often the topic of conversation. His love of teaching was a gift to us all. I am so sorry to hear about his passing, and I hope his family can know what a blessing he was to music education. I'm sure he's already in a brass choir in heaven.
