Before retirement Joe was employed by the Federal Reserve Bank. The Bank was a happy place for Joe as he enjoyed his work, his co-workers' friendships and the amenities the Bank offered employees. Another happy place Joe enjoyed was Revere Beach where he swam and enjoyed friendships at the beach's eateries and night spots. Another happy place was "the cellar" a bar Joe constructed in the basement of the triple decker home in East Boston. It was frequented by many friends to play chess, watch sports and movies, and discuss topics of the day. Now Joe rests in the happiest place of all reunited with his loved ones.
To honor Joe, donations may be made to the charity of your choice or to Boston Children's Hospital, 300 Longwood Ave., Boston MA 02115.
Funeral services will be private.
