Joseph "Joe" E. Davidowski, 84, Brule, WI resident, died on Monday, December 9, 2024, at Twin Ports Health in Superior, WI. He was born on January 16, 1940, in Superior to Joseph and Veronica (Rukowski) Davidowski.
Joe graduated from East High School in 1958. He served his country in the United States Air Force with the 101st Airborne.
He worked as a conservation warden for the D.N.R. retiring in 1994 after thirty­ four years of service.
Joe married Janic "Jan" Weyandt on July 11, 1959, at St. Michaels Catholic Church in Iron River, WI. They celebrated nearly fifty-nine years of marriage before Jan's passing in June of 2018.
He was a member of St. Michaels Catholic Church in Iron River, WI. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to fish trout on the Brule River, hunting with his grandchildren and fishing.
Joe is survived by his two sons, Jay (Brenda) Davidowski, Plymouth, MN and their children, Cole and Rory Davidowski, both of Plymouth, MN and Joel (Nicola) Davidowski, Park City, UT and their children, Austin "AJ", Andrew and Trey, all of Park City, UT.
He is preceded in death by his beloved wife Jan; brother David Davidowski in l963 after a Thanksgiving hunting accident.
The family would like to extend there heartfelt thanks and appreciation to the staff at Twin Ports Health and Rehab for the wonderful care they provided Joe.
A Memorial Service will be held in the spring of 2025, along with burial at Pine Ridge Cemetery.
