He was born in Lowell on September 17, 1946, and was the son of the late Salvatore and Jean (Brun) DiPietro.
Joe was born and raised in Lowell. He was an avid golfer and belonged To Sky Meadow Country Club in Nashua for 25 years. Nothing made him happier than cooking for his family and friends and just being together.
Joseph leaves his children, Tracey DiPietro of Boxboro, Alena DiPietro of Tyngsboro, Mitchell Jefferson of NH, and Gina DiPietro and her longtime partner Pete Delmore of Mason, NH. He also leaves behind his grandkids, Joey, Antonia, Nadia and Ella, and many nieces and nephews. He will be missed by his many, many good friends whom he loved like family.
He is predeceased by his brothers, Anthony (Nino) DiPietro and Salvatore (Donny) DiPietro.
Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, July 11, 2024, from 4 – 7 pm at the Blake Chelmsford Funeral Home, 24 Worthen St., Chelmsford. His Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, July 12, at 9 am at St. John the Evangelist Parish, 115 Middlesex St., North Chelmsford. KINDLY GATHER AT THE CHURCH. Interment to follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Lawrence.
