Joseph “Joe” Dymora Jr.

Joseph "Joe" Dymora, Jr., age 73, of Burt, Michigan, passed away on February 8, 2026.

He was born on July 19, 1952, in Saginaw, Michigan, to Joseph, Sr. and Darlene (Elgie) Dymora.

Joe was a proud graduate of Chesaning High School and dedicated much of his working life to serving others. He worked for the United States Post Office, working for the Chesaning location for 22 years and then the Saginaw location for 13 years. He also served his community as an Assistant Fire Chief for Albee Township.

Joe had many passions in life. He was a car enthusiast, loved the outdoors, camping, fishing, and hunting, and enjoyed bowling, slow-pitch softball, and collecting many things over the years. Above all, Joe was known for his big heart-he was always there to help anyone who needed it. His greatest joy was his family, especially his grandchildren, who lovingly knew him as "Papa Joe." He cherished cheering them on and watching them at their events.

Joe was a devoted father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He is survived by his children: Christy Marble (Ron), Samantha (Dan) Griggs, Chris (Hailey) Dymora, and Melissa (Jim) Belanger; grandchildren, Ashley Zervan, Kirsten (Marcus) Musselman, Barry Griggs (Caitlin), Ace Shufelt, Bo Shufelt, Abram Belanger, Landon Dymora,Sophie Schroeder, and Quinn Schroeder, Jr.; great grandchildren, Gabbi Kitchen, Elli Zervan, and Nash Musselman; siblings, Alna (Brian) Gallagher, Tom Dymora, Mike Dymora, Mary (Brian) Lewis, Tim (Ruth) Dymora, and Val Eakin, along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends. He is also survived by his companion and best friend, Deb Langworthy, who stood by his side.

Joe will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, February 20, 2026, at McGeehan Funeral Homes Martin Chapel. The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm – 7:00pm on Thursday, February 19th at the funeral home.
