After 78 full years, on 26 February, 2025, surrounded by family, Joseph "Joey" Frankino peacefully succumbed to Parkinson's Disease.
Loving, doting husband and best friend of 45 years to Maureen (nee Maxwell). Devoted and caring Father to Trina (Michael), Joseph (Nikki), Jaime (Jason), Russell (Karen). Favorite person to 7 cherished grandchildren: Bryce, Joseph III, Nicholas, Emily, Maryn, Katie, Dylan. Treasured son to Francesco "Frank" Frankino, deceased and Julia (nee Panno), deceased.
Preceded in death by brothers Frank (Pam, deceased), George (Laurie). Beloved brother to James Frankino (Marcia) and brother-in-law to Laurie, Janice Maxwell, Ralph Maxwell, Shelley (Butch) Morehouse.
A Navy Veteran and '67 USS Forrestal survivor, Joey learned early about the value and fragility of life. Motivated by kindness and known for his steadfast integrity, incredible wit and humor, Joey succeeded in business sales and life.
Family will receive friends 3:00 – 7:00 P.M. Monday, March 3, 2025, at the Murphy Funeral Home, 95 South Franklin St., Chagrin Falls, OH. Funeral Mass will be 12:00 PM Tuesday, March 4, at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 496 East Washington Street, Chagrin Falls. Interment Evergreen Hills Cemetery, 506 S Franklin St, Chagrin Falls.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to the The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research
