Joseph Fratto Obituary
He was born June 29, 1938 in Trenton, NJ to the late Frank Fratto and Maria Polumbo Fratto. He served his country in the US Army. He had an intense passion for jazz music, and played the saxophone in his own band, which traveled for several years.
He was a self-employed hairdresser before moving to Florida in 1979. Joseph was an instructor for the Cosmetology School and later retired from the Pasco County School District as a Disciplinary Administrative Assistant where he was well known and loved helping Seven Springs Middle School students.
Joseph was an avid golfer belonging to Beacon Woods Golf Club, where he made many long-lasting friendships, and enjoyed weekly rounds with his sons. He and his wife, Elaine, enjoyed many cruises together.
Survivors include: his wife, Elaine (Franco) Fratto; two sons, Jeff Fratto (Christy) and Joey Fratto (Patricia Spano); grandchildren: Jennifer Rebellato-Nolting (daughter Amelia), Vincent Fratto, Andrea Fratto, Felicia Fratto, Ariana Donovan, Halie Bryan, Levi McCormick; and great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
