Mr. Gatt was part of my childhood memories. I remember when my family lived in Africa, he would drop by to see my parents. They would have a drink at the house before they headed off to dinner and he would always take time and ask me about my life, friends, school, and antics. He would always crack jokes and make me laugh. He was always so jovial and positive. May he rest in eternal peace in the loving hands of our Heavenly Father.

Rest in peace Joe Gatt.
I can remember your phone call to me, the switch operator on duty on May 17, 1997, when AFDL removed President Mobutu in power.
You inquired about how cellular network was doing during this time of trouble in Kinshasa and even reassured me to keep doing my job and that helped me a lot.
You were indeed a pioneer in cellular industry that helped to bring vendors like Motorola, Qualcomm, ... to name a few, in Congo.
Your life were a blessing to many Congolese people and businesses.

Joe is without a doubt who set me on the Information Security journey I am on in my career. I owe him so much and remember him so fondly. His interest and passion for technology will always hold a place in my heart. Love to the family.
