Jay was the kind of person who would help a stranger out. He was always kind to me and did some jobs for us at a fair price. I'll never forget the gater ride! Miss you my friend.

To the Gentzendanner family:
I am so very sorry to hear about Jay's passing. This is an unimaginable loss....for all of us. I am absolutely stunned and filled with tremendous grief that cannot be put into mere words. Because of his zest for life Jay was the kind of person who I thought would outlive us all. I've never known anyone quite like Jay..... an angel sent from God to live among us in human form who impacted just about every person who ever met him. His willingness to help anyone in need knew no bounds. He was also the funniest person I knew. The love, loyalty and devotion he had for his family and friends was as wide and as deep as the heavens of which he now resides. I loved him as much as I have loved any brother.....and I will forever miss him until I see him again.
