Joseph M. Grabowski of Middletown, N.Y. passed away on Sunday March 16, 2025 in Garnet Health Medical Center in Middletown, N.Y. He was 68.
The son of the late Louis and Lena Grabowski, he was born on July 20, 1956 in the Bronx, N.Y.
Joseph was a former school teacher at the Oyster Bay High School and St. Joseph School and a retail worker in the Middletown area. He was a member of the Middletown Art Group and the Senior Center. He was a graduate of C.W. Post with a degree in Art Education.
He is survived by his sisters Lucy Klaus (Gregory) of Farmville, VA., Nancy Nelson of Hartsdale, N.Y. and Stephanie Grabowski of Ithaca, N.Y. His brother Louis J. Grabowski (Laura) of Middletown, N.Y. His nephew Martin Grabowski and his nieces Elaine Grabowski and Melissa Nelson. His great nieces and great nephews Killian, Dresden, Gavin, Xavier, Alexis, Dametri, Nicky, Blake, Quindelline, Sophia, Max, Mia, Dylan and Tyler.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday March 24, 2025 at 11 A.M. at the Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church Euclid Ave. Middletown, N.Y.
Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
