Joseph Haklar Obituary
Born in Allentown on February 29, 1960, he was the son of the late James, Sr. and Ethel Claire (Zack) Haklar. Most recently, Joe worked in Apartment Maintenance. He was a member of St. Mark's UCC, Allentown as well as a life member of the Salisbury Fire Co. #1 and the VFW Post 2124.
Joe will be lovingly remembered by his son, Joseph J. Jacobs of Allentown; grandson, Joseph C. Jacobs; companion, Deb Gallagher of Allentown; siblings, Jim, Rose, Barbara, Mary, Helen, Liz, Steve, and Ellie all of Allentown, Cathy of Northampton, John of Catasauqua, Lori of Nazareth; many nieces and nephews; beloved dog, Sissy and cats, Tigger & Bella.
A funeral service will be held at 11AM on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, in the K.V. Knopp Funeral Home, 46 E. Susquehanna Street, Allentown. Family and friends may pay their respects from 10 to 11AM at the funeral home. Interment to follow the service at Cedar Hill Memorial Park, Allentown.
