Joseph Hemmerle Obituary

Joseph V. Hemmerle Jr., age 91, of Delaware, passed away Tuesday, May 7, 2024, at Ohio Living Sarah Moore Home in Delaware.

Those left to cherish his memory include daughters Terri (Joseph) Roden of Delaware, and Vicki Hemmerle (Sue Saltalamacchia) of Evergreen, Colorado, and grandchildren Amanda Roden (Zac Davis), Patrick, and Nicholas Roden. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 55 years Caroll (Fischer) Hemmerle. in 2015.

A gathering of friends and family will be held Thursday, May 16th from 5 – 8 p.m. at the Snyder-Rodman Funeral Center, 101 Valleyside Dr. at W. William St., Delaware, Ohio 43015, where military honors provided by the Delaware County Veteran Association will be observed at 6:45, followed by a meal of Joe's favorites eats in the Community Room at the Snyder-Rodman Funeral Center. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, May 17th at 1 p.m. at St. Mary Church, 82 E. William St., Delaware, Ohio 43015. Inurnment will take place Monday, May 20th at 9 a.m. at the Dayton National Cemetery.

Memorial contributions can be made to Cystic Fibrosis Foundation c/o team "In the Nick of Time", 740 Lakeview Plaza Blvd, Worthington, OH 43085 (www.cff.org).
