So Sorry to know that Joe suffered from a debilitating disease before he passed.
Joe was one of the most pleasant people I've ever known in my life.
He was my brother in law for a short time, But never held it against anyone that he didn't make it with my sister. He was taken too soon, may he rest in peace.

Joe was my nephew. After marrying his aunt Rita, I first remember Joe at Christmas time when the family all got together around the Christmas tree in Grandma Hirsch's living room. I always remember Joey as a happy child and then as he grew up, he was a peaceful and happy guy. He was always comfortable to be with, and had an easy smile. What a wonderful legacy he leaves for his family to remember. I recall speaking once with a First Sergeant at the local Marine Corps facility and I asked him about Joe. He said he remembered Joe as a "good marine." There are not many men in this world who have earned that epitaph.
God bless you and keep you in his peace forever, Joe.
