Joseph Ray Holland, 47, of Barnesville, Ohio passed away on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at his home. He was born on August 1, 1978, in Wheeling, West Virginia to Thomas Mont and Vicky Lynn (Carter) Holland of Barnesville.
Joe attended Barnesville High School through the 12th grade. He started out as a teenager working at Dickinson's Cattle Company then went on to work for the Laborer's Union and most recently at the Marshall County Coal Mine. Joe was a member of the Grim Reapers where he was known as "Joe Buck".
Joe was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ted and Madlyn Holland and Ralph and Peggy Carter; and an uncle, Tim Holland.
In addition to his parents, Joe is survived by his brothers, Mike (Jenna) Holland of New Enterprise, Pennsylvania and Mark Holland of Barnesville; his girlfriend, Torie Ross and her sons, Kyler Kohlton Channell; nephews, Jace and Logan Holland who called Joe, "The Bear"; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Memorial services will be held at a later date. Care is entrusted to Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 North Chestnut Street, Barnesville, Ohio.
