Joseph Lee Holt, age 60, of Osgood, passed away on April 12, 2025, at his home.
He was born on July 4, 1964, in Cincinnati, Ohio, the son of Russell and Betty (Cromer) Holt. Joe was a 1982 graduate of South Ripley High School. After graduation, he entered the workforce and spent several years employed at Arvin Sango in Madison.
Joe had a passion for electronics and enjoyed working on various electrical items, especially soldering radio parts. He was also known for his love of movies and had a special talent for raising houseplants, earning a reputation as a true green thumb.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Debra Holt; his parents; his brother, Randy Holt; and his daughter, Angela Nunley.
Joe is survived by his daughters, Lisa Dillon and Tammy Nunley; son, Billy Nunley; brother, Ben (Jennifer) Holt; sisters, Amy Brockman, Linda Lloyd, and Victoria Holt; along with numerous nieces and nephews, several grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Neal’s Funeral Home in Osgood. Funeral services will follow at 4:00 PM, with Pastor Tom Holt officiating.
