Joseph Wiley Hudson, of Connersville, IN, passed away on December 29, 2025 at the age of 68. Joseph was born in Indianapolis, IN on September 10, 1957 to parents, Wiley Ray and Hilda Marie (Quinlin) Hudson. He graduated from Warren Central High School and went on to earn his bachelor's degree in Accounting from IUPUI and master’s degree in Church Administration from Liberty University During his career, Joseph worked as a CPA for Webb & Associates for over 30 years.
Joseph was a dedicated member of Connersville Baptist Temple for 26 years, where he served as a Sunday school teacher, Deacon, Trustee, AWANAS leader and often acted in the church plays. He enjoyed camping, music, go-cart racing, and playing board games. He was a consummate sports fan and avid IU Hoosiers Basketball and Football fan.
Joseph is survived by his wife of 45 years, Brenda (Miller) Hudson; daughter, Shay Chandler (Alvin); uncle, Marian Quinlin, and siblings: Larry Hudson, Tim Hudson and Patricia Poplicean, as well as many nieces and nephews. Preceeded in death by his parents and brother, Robert Hudson.
Visitation will be held from 12-2pm, Saturday, January 17, 2026 at Flanner Buchanan – Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington St, Indianapolis, IN, where funeral services will immediately follow, beginning at 2pm. Memorial contributions in Joesph’s name may be made to: The Parkinson’s Foundation
