Joseph "Joe" Hunt

Joe was born December 20th, 1979 in Akron, Ohio. He was the 2nd of four children of George and Michelle (Moffitt) Hunt. He was a graduate of Stow High School in 1999. He married the love of his life, Krista, on September 27, 2020. They shared 5 children, Madelyn Hunt, Ella Hunt, Aiden Brown, Colton Brown, & Easton Brown. His selfless fatherly love will carry on in their hearts.
Joe had a successful career as a salesman for Boat Masters Marine, where his customers quickly became friends. He was passionate about his family, giving his children a life full of love and making sure everything they did was fun and that their needs were always taken care of. Not a day went by that he didn't start his morning talking to his big brother George. They were always up to fun and brotherly shenanigans. He had a wonderful group of lifelong friends who he cared for like family. He loved the game of golf, and played in a weekly league with one of his best buddies.
He is preceded in death by grandmother Virginia Moffitt, grandmother Diana Kimmerle, and grandfather George L. Hunt.
Joe is survived by his loving wife, Krista Hunt, daughters Maddi and Ella Hunt, step-sons Aiden, Colton and Easton Brown. Parents George and Michelle Hunt, brothers George (Raina) Hunt, Jack (Julianne) Hunt, and sister Jeanie Hunt. Mother-in-law Debbie Reiheld, along with his nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, brothers in law, sisters in law and countless friends, and of course his dog, Bear.
Calling hours & Funeral services will be held at Northside Christian Church, 7615 Ridge Rd, Wadsworth, Oh 44281. Calling hours will be held Wednesday, June 14th 4pm-7pm
