Joseph Kaczmarski Obituary

**Obituary for Joseph Kaczmarski**

Joseph Kaczmarski, a beloved father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, on December 4, 2024, at his home in Fremont, New Hampshire, at the age of 86. Born on September 13, 1938, in Manchester, New Hampshire, Joseph was the cherished son of Glikeria (Lewko) Kaczmarski and Wasyl Kaczmarski.

Joseph was a proud graduate of Manchester Central High School, class of 1956, where he laid the foundation for his remarkable work ethic and dedication to his craft. He began his professional journey that same year at the Bee Bee Shoe Factory, where he met the love of his life, Corinne Turcotte Kaczmarski. They shared an incredible bond over their 50 years of marriage, a partnership that was only separated by her passing in 2009.

A true patriot, Joseph served in the United States Marine Corps Reserves, embodying the values of commitment and service that he carried into his civilian life. His career spanned over four decades, during which he worked as a Survey Party Chief at Hills and Heslin, land surveyors and engineers, before becoming the Superintendent at Harvey Construction Corporation until his retirement in 2000. Joseph was known for his role in significant projects, including the layout of major routes in New Hampshire, showcasing his expertise and dedication to his profession.

In addition to his professional pursuits, Joseph was a passionate entrepreneur, starting his own videography company, Video Unlimited. He captured life's most precious moments, from weddings to graduations, for countless families, leaving them with lasting memories.

Joseph's love for family was unparalleled. He is survived by his six devoted children: Joseph Kaczmarski Jr., Deborah Chalifour, Michael Kaczmarski, Lisa Carty, Diane Bouchard, and Donna Ahern. He was a proud grandfather to 14 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren, who brought immense joy and laughter into his life. Joseph was also in a loving relationship with Judy Northridge of Boydton, Virginia, at the time of his passing.

A dedicated member of Saint Mary's Ukrainian Church, Joseph devoted over 35 years to various roles, including altar boy, usher, and groundskeeper. His passion for gardening transformed the church grounds into a breathtaking sanctuary for all. He also created youth support groups, offering guidance and hope to those in need, further demonstrating his commitment to uplifting others.

Joseph's hobbies included spending countless hours tending to his garden and capturing the beauty of nature through photography. He had an affinity for animals, caring for the wildlife that frequented his home in Virginia. Whether watching cardinals from his bird feeders or boating on Bugaboo Lake, his love for the outdoors was evident in all he did. Joseph dreamed of living by the ocean, and he cherished every moment spent by the shore.

Known for his strong character, Joseph was a natural storyteller who could captivate an audience with tales of his life experiences. He was a caregiver at heart, always putting others before himself, and he had an undeniable passion for good food, particularly breakfast. His famous BBQ marinated lamb chops and his expert knowledge on the preparation of hot dogs became legendary among his family and friends.

Joseph is preceded in death by his beloved wife Corinne, grandson Alan Ahern, and sister Olga Cote, who will be waiting for him in heaven.

A celebration of Joseph's life will be held in early spring, with masses to honor his memory. In the meantime, friends and family are invited to sign the online guest book at www.peabodyfuneralhome.com or follow Joe Kaczmarski Sr. on Facebook for future updates.

Joseph Kaczmarski's legacy will live on through the many lives he touched with his kindness, love, and unwavering spirit. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
