Haisley Funeral and Cremation Service Tribute Center - Port Saint LucieJoseph J. Langone, known to everyone simply as Joe, passed away peacefully on October 18th, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family. He was 64 years old.
Born in the Bronx, New York on December 23rd, 1960, Joe lived a life full of hard work, laughter, and love. After graduating from North Salem High School in 1978, he went on to earn his Associate’s Degree in Drafting from Farmingdale College in 1980. A true master of his craft, Joe became a Certified ASE Master Technician — a title that perfectly matched his lifelong passion for cars.
If there was an engine that needed fixing, a classic car that needed restoring, or a project that needed patience and precision, Joe was the one everyone called. But more than his talent, it was his kindness and willingness to help that made him special. Whether he was coaching youth baseball, offering advice, or lending a hand in the garage, Joe gave of himself fully and without hesitation.
A proud New Yorker and lifelong Yankees fan, Joe loved nothing more than catching a game — especially when they won. Even after moving to Port St. Lucie, Florida, he’d make trips to Miami to see them play, keeping that Bronx spirit alive wherever he went.
Joe’s greatest joy, though, was his family. He celebrated his marriage to the love of his life, Mickey, on April 11th, 1987. That same year, he became a father to his son, Joey — a role he cherished above all else. In 2018, he proudly watched Joey marry Angie, and in 2020, his heart grew even bigger with the arrival of his grandson, Enzo. Enzo was truly his pride and joy — everything Joe did, he did with his grandson in mind.
Joe is survived by his loving wife Mickey, his son Joey, daughter-in-law Angie, his adored grandson Enzo, his mother Diana Aiello, and his brother Dominick Langone. He is reunited in peace with his father, Dominick Langone, who surely welcomed him with open arms.
Knowing Joe was never much of a flower guy, we ask that any and all donations may be made to the American Kidney Fund (AKF). They are a wonderful non-profit foundation that specializes in offering financial aid to patients in need, as well as doing a fantastic job bringing public awareness to a terrible disease.
A Funeral Mass celebrating Joe’s life will be held on Saturday, November 22nd at 10:00 AM at St. Bernadette Catholic Church located at 350 Northwest California Boulevard, Port Saint Lucie, Florida, 34986.
Joe will be remembered as a kind soul, a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, and a man who could fix just about anything — except how much he’ll be missed.
