Joseph Leonard "Joe" Liedel

Joseph "Joe" Leonard Liedel, age 64, of Bolivia North Carolina, passed away at home on Wednesday, May 22, 2024. He was born in Michigan and spent most of his life in Ringgold, Georgia other then six years in Fort Myers, Florida and the last two years in Oak Island, North Carolina. Joe graduated from Ringgold High School class of 1978 and has spent all of his life in the automotive industry. He was a grill master and loved fishing, especially deep-sea fishing, hunting and playing golf. His passion was riding Harley – Davidson Motorcycles, most recently his 2021 FL Custom. However, his most cherished time, was spent with his children, grandchildren, and family. He is preceded in death by his father, Len Liedel. Joe is survived by Sherri Liedel; children, Tasha Liedel (D.J. Hyatt), Josh (Shana) Liedel; mother, Phyllis J. Liedel; siblings, Thomas Liedel, Kenneth (Kerry) Liedel; Leonard (Pam) Liedel, Kandise (Bob) Lee, Christopher Liedel; grandchildren, Taylei Liedel, Emberlei Liedel, Karlei Hyatt, Hunter Hyatt, Hadlei Liedel, Oaklei Liedel, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 5:00 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
