Mr. Joseph Francis Mazzaferrro, age 91, passed away on May 29, 2024. He was born on September 23, 1932 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to the late August and Josephine Graziano Mazzaferro. He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 55 years, Frances Etta Chapman Mazzaferro. Joseph proudly served his country in the United States Army. He worked in maintenance throughout his career and was with Oscar Mayer for many years. He was a 20 year member of the Masonic Lodge 271 in Goodlettsville and was a lifelong photographer. His family will have treasured memories captured for a lifetime because of his love for photographing those specials moments in time. He enjoyed watching movies, raised rabbits with his family and never met a stranger. He was a longtime member of Community of Christ.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held on Friday, June 7, 2024, 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Spring Hill Funeral Home with Steve and Cherry Koehler officiating. Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday, June 7th from 1:00-2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to Community of Christ Church or the Overwatch Alliance to help veterans and their families.
