My sincere condolences to the entire Mazzola family. Joe was a staple in our town and will be terribly missed. I loved chatting with him about East Boston and being Sicilian when I picked up my orders. My heart breaks for you all and I hope the wonderful memories of him carry you through this.

To the family of Joe Mazzola, we will always remember Joe and Carmine Defilippo and his wife Teresa playing the mandolin together at the restaurant. We loved Joe and we hope Joe and Carmine are together again up in heaven. Our condolences are with the family. Teresa Defilippo

Dear Corrine,
I was so heartbroken to hear about your dad´s passing. I can only imagine how deep this loss must feel for you and your family. Please know that I´m holding you close in my thoughts and sending you all my love.
Your dad was such a part of the fabric of Tewksbury-Café Sicilia wasn´t just a restaurant, it was a community landmark. His warmth, his work ethic, and the love he poured into that place touched so many lives. I know his presence will be missed beyond measure.
We´ve shared so much-high school, college, a home, and years of laughter and growing pains. Even though life has taken us in different directions, I´ve never stopped loving you. You´ve always been strong, thoughtful, and full of grace, but I hope you know you don´t have to carry this grief alone. I´m here for you-for a call, a visit, or just to sit in silence if that´s what you need.
With all my heart and deepest sympathy,
Melissa
