I have so many fond memories of going to the Mercuri´s home and seeing Mr. Mercuri sitting in his chair in the living room, and chatting with him. He had such joy in opening his home to Joan´s circle of chatty, loud friends (especially when we played spoons in the kitchen). He was a lovely man - my heartfelt condolences to all of the Mercuri family, Leslie Morrison.

Our prayers to all Cousin Joe´s family! So many fun memories of him when I would spend time in CT in the summer. He was always busy and playing tennis with a smile on his face. Lived a full life with family first. He´s happy with Alice and family now watching out for you all. I know it´s been hard on all of you for a while now. He would be so proud of how you all were there for him and Gloria and took such good care of them. You all were always the Good Mercuri´s not like the ones in MA. lol See you in eternity Joe!

"When you are sorrowful look again in your heart and you shall see that in truth you are weeping for that which has been your delight." K.G. Joe was certainly that. Generously hosting my parents (golf and tennis) when they came from out of state, teaching me upholstery bits with that enduring smile. He lit up the room with that twinkle in his eye. He is sorely missed. Love you all

I will remember Joe as a warm, friendly, generous person who was really funny. And even in his advancing years, his eyes always lit up when there were children around. Condolences to the family from Judy and Peter
