Joseph Millimaci, age 84, passed away on Tuesday, October 22, 2024, after a short illness at LECOM at Village Square surrounded by family.
He was born on July 7, 1940, in Erie, to the late Phillip and Josephine (Musso) Millimaci.
After his graduation from high school, Joseph worked for Auto Seat Cover Company for over 20 years before starting his own business in the early 90’s, Millimaci Auto Upholstery. He was known for being a master upholsterer and would do anything he could to help others. Joseph had a great sense of humor and enjoyed making others laugh. He loved building old street rods, fishing and was an avid Denver Broncos fan.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandson, Trevor Millimaci; sisters, Flora Pamula and Mary Jane Hoffman and his “lady friend”, Denise Martin.
He leaves behind to cherish him in memory, his children, Kimberly Millimaci, Daniel Millimaci, Christine Hess, Elena Darden (Anthony), Ann Spinelli (Sean), Ryan Millimaci, Jennifer Millimaci and Sara Millimaci; grandchildren, Krystal, Cassandra, Stephanie, Tyler, Daryn, Craig and Kaden and his brother, Phillip Millimaci. He is further survived by good friends, Brian Zewe and James “Jazz” Curry and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Arrangements are entrusted to Burton Quinn-Scott Cremation & Funeral Services Inc. Downtown, 602 W 10th St. A private memorial will be held for family.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial contributions to the Erie Humane Society, 2407 Zimmerly Road, Erie, PA 16506.
