Mouse was born on December 3, 1953, in South Bend, Indiana to the late Joseph P. Welling and Mary Lou Welling.
Along with his parents, Mouse was preceded in death by his partner and best friend, Deborah "Miss Mouse" Sanchez.
Left to cherish the memory of Mouse is his niece and caregivers, Jenny Jellison and the Jellison family, and many friends who will never forget his sarcasm and jokes.
Mouse was a beloved figure, known for his deep passion for history, which he freely shared with friends and family. His keen interest in collecting coins and airplane models reflected his appreciation for the finer details of the past and the marvels of engineering.
Mouse was not only an enthusiast of history and collectibles but also had a love for motorcycles, the Chicago Bears, and Notre Dame. His love for poetry inspired many, as he expressed his thoughts and feelings through carefully crafted verses that touched the hearts of those around him.
Visitation for Mouse will be on Thursday, August 28, 2025, from 10:00am to 11:00am with a Memorial Service to be held at 11:00am at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 219 South State St. Niles, MI 49120.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Brown Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
