Joseph was born June 13, 1990 in Austin Texas. He graduated from Hutto High School in 2008 where he played football and baseball. Joseph loved baseball and was a pitcher and did well. He attended Concordia Lutheran College on an Academic Scholarship and left school to join the Marine Corps Reserves.
He had worked in the HVAC and Plumbing industries for several years. Joseph enjoyed helping people however he could. He had been a great help with his Mimi and Pa Paw Obermiller in their later years and was a caregiver for his maternal grandmother, Ann Myra, at the time of his passing. Joseph loved the Texas Longhorns, Houston Astros and his little sister.
He is survived by:

His father Charles Obermiller and wife Jan, of Buckholts
His sister Jessica Anne Obermiller of San Antonio
Grandmother Ann Myra
Stepsisters Cathleen Stettler of San Antonio
Victoria Stettler of Hutto
Uncle Charles Ray of Morgan's Point
Cousins Ashley and Katie Ray of Belton
