Jo Jo Pistorius was my cousin. I remember him & cousin Merlin coming to visit
with Grandmother Pistorius after they graduated from high school. We were in Oklahoma and they graduated in Shreveport,Louisiana. Fine young men coming to visit Grandmother before starting their adult life. The family was always close and always remembered by all. Marjorie Ann Haynes,cousin,

I first met Joe when he came to Pittsburgh and was looking for a tennis game at the North Park Tennis courts! I was playing mixed doubles with my partner Janet who later became his wife! Joe was an excellent tennis player and one of nicest guy you could meet ! But once on the court he was a warrior and extremely competitive! Throughout many years we had so much fun on and off the court! God bless Joe and Janet and I know they are together again! I was so proud that we were friends! May he RIP!
