Joseph Polek Obituary
On Tuesday, November 5, 2024, Joseph “Joe” Edward Polek of Linthicum, MD, passed away peacefully with family by his side. Beloved husband of the late Janet M. Polek; loving father of Sharon M. Clark and her husband, Walter D. Clark and the late Ronald J. Polek; devoted grandfather of Rachel Welck (Richard) and Madison Lynn Clark; cherished great-grandfather of Everley Rowan Welck and Delaney Quinn Welck; and dear father-in-law of Sharon L. Polek. Joe was preceded in death by his parents, Frances and Adelbert Polek; and his siblings, Stanley, Victoria, John, Frank, Walter, Alphonse, Florence, Jeannie, and Justine. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends.
Family and friends are invited to gather at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, PA, 1 2nd Avenue, SW ,(at Crain Highway), Glen Burnie, MD 21061 on Wednesday, November 13, 2024 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Thursday, November 14, 2024 at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, 6401 S. Orchard Road, Linthicum Heights, MD 21090 at 12:30 pm. His Committal Service and Interment will be at the Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Crownsville, MD where Joe will receive Military Honors. If desired, Memorial Contributions may be made in his name to St. Judes Children’s Research Hospital, Memphis, TN.
