I had a wonderful professional relationship with Joe and he was truly a pleasure to serve. Very down to earth while having a great business acumen. He was always sensible and approachable while having a great sense of humor. I will always have nothing but respect for him and many fond memories too. RIP and thank you for all.

What a photo, what a story. My family, the Waters, were also in the car business and we bought cars from your family for years. Although founder Uncle James F. was many years older, and the legacy did not last as long as your Dad's, it is nevertheless a legacy of that burgeoning times and business of cars, trucks and vehicles. Although I now reside in the SC Mts., I can still see the building on California. Sorry for your loss. What a legacy and story!

I worked for Joe at the Buick GM store for 46 years in the early years. This man was smart and when he spoke, you listened if I remember right, he´s only yelled at me twice, but after he retired, he always remembered my name when I saw him when he walked through the dealership. My first only job I ever had. I am retired now and live in Nevada. That job taught me a lot about working on cars met a lot of good mechanics over the years working at his dealership in Burlingame. I will always remember you, Joe.

Sympathy to Joe's family. His Sister, Doris married my husband's cousin, Kenny Miner. We knew Francis and Bertha very well.
My maiden name was Vakiner from rural Gregory. Prayers being sent to all.
