Joseph Renault Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Tancrell-Jackman Funeral Home - Uxbridge on Sep. 25, 2024.
Uxbridge - Joseph E. Renault, 95, passed away on Monday, September 23, 2024 at UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester.
Born in Uxbridge, he was the son of the late Louis and Rena (Bombardier) and lived here most of his life. He is survived by his daughter, Janice Moulton and her husband Ken of Oxford, two sons Robert Renault and his wife Lisa of Millville, and Ronald Renault of Uxbridge; seven grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, a niece and several friends. He was predeceased by his wife of 70 years, Madeleine (Cadorette) Renault and a brother Joseph M. Renault.
Joe worked as a machinist for many area companies, including Whitin Machine Works in Whitinsville, Standard Fittings in Framingham, Smith Valve in Westboro, and West Hill Machine Co. in Mendon. He retired in 1994.
Outgoing and friendly, Joe was talented and handy. He built his two homes and could fix anything. He enjoyed fishing at the Cape, gardening, nature, camping, building models, and most of all spending time with family. He loved music and sang with his wife in the Messengers singing group. He is also Polka Paul's biggest fan. He was a member of the former Good Shepherd Church.
According to his wishes, there will be no calling hours. Private service and burial will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 6704, Hagerstown, MD 21741. To leave a condolence message, please visit www.jackmanfuneralhomes.com

Rest in Peace Mr Renault, you are with your wife now. I used to sing with him and his wife when I delivered their meals on wheels and he will sing a french song for me. Sorry about your loss!
