Joseph "Joe" P. Snipas, 76, of Hanover, PA, entered God's eternal light on August 26, 2025, at Hanover Hall. He was the devoted husband of Donna M. Snipas, with whom he shared 40 years of marriage.

Born in Philadelphia on September 12, 1948, Joe was the son of the late Joseph D. and Marie J. (Draham) Snipas. He grew up in the Philadelphia area before moving to Hanover, where he met Donna and built the life and family he cherished.

Joe dedicated 20 years of his career as Plant Manager with Pillowtex. Following its closure, he continued his service as Manager at AMVETS Post 22 until his retirement in 2011.

A man of many passions, Joe found joy in boating, fishing, golfing, and football, but most of all he treasured time spent with family and friends. He proudly served in the Marine Reserves, was a member of the McSherrystown Home Association, and was a life member of AMVETS Post 22.

In addition to his wife, Joe is survived by his sister, Diane Snipas, and her wife, Janet Kerns; his stepdaughter, Michelle Deslauriers, and her husband, Gary; and his beloved grandsons, Peter and Carter.

Joe will be remembered as a kind and gentle soul whose presence enriched the lives of all who knew him. His memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.

In honoring Joe's wishes, no funeral services will be held.
