Joseph Thomas Obituary

Born June 1, 1967, in Owensboro, Kentucky; he was the son of Ray Thomas and the late Estelle (Fulton) Sharp.
Hughie enjoyed fishing, racing, and hanging out with his mother.
He is survived by his sons, Wayne Thomas and Scott Thomas, both of Owensboro, Kentucky; his daughters, Taylor (Ryan) Wayt of Seymour and Savannah (Jeffrey) Wingler of North Vernon; his father, Ray Thomas; several grandchildren; his mother's twin sister, Aunt Ann Girton; and several cousins.
He was preceded in death by his mother and stepfather, Kenneth "Bud" Sharp.
A visitation for family and friends will be conducted from 10:00 a.m. until the closing prayer at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Service. The burial will follow in the Vernon Cemetery in Vernon.
Memorials may be made in honor of Hughie through the funeral home for expenses.
