It is with deep sorrow we announce the passing of Joseph M. Trombley Jr. on Dec 25, 2022after a courageous battle with lung cancer. Joe worked for the City of Burlington for 42 years until his retirement in 2006. As an avid hunter and fisherman, Joe enjoyed spending time with his family doing his favorite things. Joe is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Marjorie Trombley. His four beautiful daughters and sons-in-laws Penny & Kenneth Bell Sr. of Addison, Pammy & Michael Colby of South Burlington, Jenny & Thomas Cameron of North Hero, and Kitty & Billy Freegard of Rutland. Joe is also survived by his siblings Jimmy (Bonnie), Judy, Jerry (Annette), John (Debbie), his grandchildren and their spouses whom he all loved deeply, Thomas II (Katelyn), Amber (Francis), Nathan (Trista), Stephanie (Adam), Nicholas, Candi (Justin), Alyssa, Kenneth II (Natalie), & Joe (Ashley) as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Joe's pride and joy was his great grandchildren, Kohlton, Kolby, Aleyah, Mackenzie, Jordan, Lyra, & Xavier and his dog Rosey. Joe was predeceased by his parents, Joseph Sr. & Shirley Trombley, his parents-in-law Robert & Marjorie Superneau, his sisters Janine and Jane, and his longtime friend Eugene. Per Joe's Request there will be no services. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to The Vermont Fish & Wildlife Conservation Group. https://www.vtfwcg.org/
