Joseph Veres Obituary

Joe was a Senior Chief (E-8) in the U.S. Navy from 1955 – 1975, specializing in Electronic Warfare. After retiring from the Navy, he worked for Detroit Edison at the Fermi power plant. Most recently, Joe has served as a long-time volunteer at Silver Spring State Park and the Pioneer Village.
Left behind to cherish Joe's memory are his wife, Margaret (Sue) Veres of Ocala, FL; his children, Joseph Allen Veres (wife April) of VA., David Lynch (wife Brigitte) Ontario, Canada, Sean Lynch (wife Stephanie) of NC, Tammy Jo Smith (husband Greg) of VA., Chris Lynch (wife Robyn) of MN, Tony Lynch (wife Ashley) of MI, nineteen (19) grandchildren and twenty-two (22) great-grandchildren. He is predeceased in death by his parents, Joseph and Regina Veres, his sister Stella Slope, and a son, Michael Veres.
His family was together to privately celebrate his memory.
