Joseph H. White, age 70, of West Chester, Pennsylvania, passed away on December 16, 2025.
Born on May 30, 1955, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Joe was the beloved son of the late Howard and Nancy (née Felice) White. He was a graduate of Crestwood High School in Mountain Top, Pennsylvania. Joe dedicated 27 years of service to Philadelphia Gear Corporation, where he worked as a heat treater, before continuing his career in various roles later in life.
Joe lived life with enthusiasm and deep appreciation for family, adventure, and community. He was a devoted sports fan, with a special passion for the Philadelphia Eagles. He had a lifelong love of cars and enjoyed attending car shows whenever possible. Joe cherished time spent outdoors, particularly at the beach in Wildwood and in the mountains. He owned a cabin in Gouldsboro, Pennsylvania, where his family created many treasured memories. Family camping trips in their camper were among his favorite times. An avid motorcycle rider, Joe also participated in numerous charity rides.
Joe shared a special bond with his dogs, including his beloved Husky, Bear, who predeceased him, and Australian Shepherd, MayC, who remained a faithful companion .
Joe was the beloved husband of Virginia (née Raffa) White; loving father of Matthew White and Kristen Schulbach; caring stepfather of Robert Wisnewski and Stephen Wisnewski; and adoring grandfather of Lexi, Chase, and Xavier. He was predeceased by his son, Brian White .
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Joe’s visitation on Monday, December 22, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at The Donohue Funeral Home, 1627 West Chester Pike, West Chester, PA 19382 .
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Joe’s memory to the American Cancer Society, 1818 Market Street, Suite 2820, Philadelphia, PA 19103 .
