Joseph Robert Whitehead

Joseph Robert Whitehead, born on July 29, 1977, passed away on March 2, 2025. He leaves behind his son, Jacob; granddaughter, Anna; father, Robert; sister, Apryl; grandmother, Norma; and numerous cherished aunts, uncles, and extended relatives. Joe was preceded in death by his mother, Robin.
Joe took immense pride in the business he built and was especially proud to have worked alongside his son, Jacob. Those who knew him best will remember him as the life of the party, always full of laughter and new ways to have fun. On more than one occasion, his fun was dampened by the presence of the Virginia Beach Police, who may need to adjust their staffing accordingly. He was fiercely loyal to his friends and loved his family.
In the final days of his life, Joe requested a roast instead of a funeral – truly a reflection of his love for a good time, his great sense of humor, and his unwavering belief in enjoying life to the fullest. Joey will be greatly missed, but his memory will live on through his son, Jacob, his granddaughter, Anna, and the laughter and joy he brought to those who knew him.
