Paul will always be a legend in my book. His videos made me laugh when I was down and I will never forget that. If there was a Fallout Hall of Fame, he and Matthew Perry would be in it. Like Swank said in FNV, "If I know my pal Benny, he's swingin' with the big cat upstairs as we speak.", and that cat would be Paul because Paul was a legend and nobody should forget that. I love you, my man and I hope you R.I.P. Goodbye old friend and see you in heaven.

It was definitely a surprise to learn that you passed Paul, It´s hard to see that someone I grew up watching is gone and I´m reading his obituary but you gave me fond memories to remember you by and you´ve taught me so many things about the games you played that I never knew. Paul has been a huge part of my life without even knowing about it. I remember watching him when I could barely put together a sentence in english. Paul will always remind me of what it means to be human, being yourself and bringing joy and understanding to those around you. Even though he did these things for millions of people, he always shared the battles he faced and that we aren´t alone in our own struggles. And with his community he built we all found it in ourselves to be positive with each other, and especially towards Paul and his own battle, i´ll always remember the great content he created and how he helped me be open with myself. I watched all of his videos when I was homeless and sleeping in my car outside of a Walmart. His videos kept me company throughout all of it and I can't thank him enough for just keeping me company through posting the weirdest and most humorous videos. I found out about him the other day when someone said a word similar to his channel name and was so upset to hear the news.

"Youtuber" is not enough to describe the person you were. You did not know us personally but you touched us all equally in ways that cannot be replicated. Authentic and personable are two of the words i would use to explain your art to someone else. You will be missed by us, but more importantly by your family. So many of us forget that people on the internet have loved ones. My condolences to your family and loved ones. I cant wait to show my kids your videos one day and tell them that this was a person who did it the right way. Not selling out and not giving in to the customs of the internet. I discovered Joseph about 2 years back when I stumbled across Mitten Squad, his humor, style of videos, and overall demeanor made him one of my favorite creators almost immediately, that and he's a Michigan boy like myself. Even on my worst days his uploads would never fail to make me laugh and he was unapologetic about his sense of humor which too many people today bend the knee to fit others, I speak for the thousands that watched him when I say he will be missed, and the internet has lost one of its best.

"Turn on Paul" something I say almost nightly to my boyfriend while getting ready for bed. He was so talented that his content could put me in a good mood, give me good laughs, and his voice was perfect to falling peacefully asleep to. Though i never met Joseph, the content he made on Mitten Squad would help me and my younger brother though our parents separation. Whenever life got to be to much we would throw on his videos, just to have a laugh and to watch some fallout. I know it must be weird for his family to see so many comments from strangers who never met him and only knew him from his gaming youtube channel. However, the fact that there are so many who reached out shows how many of our lives he touched, even if indirectly. He's a comedic genius and his videos helped me get through a hard time when I was facing the same struggles as he was. Since I'm crying, I can't even imagine the pain of his family right now. Mitten Squad is still one of my favorite channels on YouTube. I actually came across him while I was in the hospital when I should have had a stroke due to unchecked high blood pressure, and we were not sure if I would ever regain my vision. Because of my loss of vision I accidentally clicked on one of his videos. The intro made me bust out laughing for the first time in about a week. He was also an inspiration for me to give up hard liquor when I was drinking way too much every night. I am going to miss him very much.

I've never met Joseph but I've been watching his content for the past 5 years, I used to fall asleep while watching his videos. He always gave me the impression that I could be good friends with him. I always felt like I related to him from the few snipits he gave of his personal life on his videos.

I remember when I first found his YouTube, I was in Michigan on a family vacation dying of boredom and I saw his thumbnail for a video. I thought it was hilarious and climbed a tree to get service to watch it and then while I was watching it I dropped my phone and it fell into the lake. His videos got me through some tough times and it´s horrible to think he´s gone.
