Joseph N. Wright, Jr., 62, of Freehold passed away on Saturday, June 28, 2025 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. He was born In Elizabeth and resided in Freehold for most of his life.

He attended St. Rose of Lima School, Freehold, St. John Vianney High School, Holmdel Township, and Freehold Borough High School.

He was a forklift operator for the Ford Motor Company, Chicago, Illinois before his retirement two and a half years ago.

Joseph was predeceased by his father, Joseph N. Wright, Sr. and a sister, Doreen Wright.

Surviving his mother, Dorothy Wright; two sisters, Angela Wright and April Wright-Brown; his niece, Aisha Wright; two nephews, Ricky Williams and his daughter Laraya, and Dorian Wright and his wife Tracee.

The viewing will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Tuesday, July 8, 2025 from 6 to 7 p.m. followed by funeral services at 7 p.m. with Rev. Ronald Sparks officiating.
