He attended St. Rose of Lima School, Freehold, St. John Vianney High School, Holmdel Township, and Freehold Borough High School.
He was a forklift operator for the Ford Motor Company, Chicago, Illinois before his retirement two and a half years ago.
Joseph was predeceased by his father, Joseph N. Wright, Sr. and a sister, Doreen Wright.
Surviving his mother, Dorothy Wright; two sisters, Angela Wright and April Wright-Brown; his niece, Aisha Wright; two nephews, Ricky Williams and his daughter Laraya, and Dorian Wright and his wife Tracee.
The viewing will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Tuesday, July 8, 2025 from 6 to 7 p.m. followed by funeral services at 7 p.m. with Rev. Ronald Sparks officiating.

I can remember Joey and I when we were painting windows in downtown Freehold for Halloween while at St Rose
He was so so talented he I were great friends at St Rose of Lima school
He will be forever in my fondest of memories
