Joseph W. Yehle, 71, of Wall, passed away peacefully on March 9th, 2025 at Tower Lodge in Wall.
Joseph Yehle was born on April 3, 1953 in Newark, NJ to William E. Yehle, and Elizabeth Golden Yehle. After graduating from Wall High School in 1971, Joe went on to join the Navy was honorably discharged, at which time he pursued a career in auto mechanics, working at Larson Ford and then Straub Lincoln-Mercury as parts and service director for many years. He made a significant impact through many awards and recognitions from Lincoln-Mercury.
Outside of work, Joe was passionate about being a Volunteer firemen and a fire commissioner with Glendola Fire Company, Life member of Wall First Aid and Rescue Squad and life member of Belmar first aid. He loved spending time with family and friends, especially working on cars, being a fireman and EMT. Joe was known for his kindness and generosity to others, always lending a helping hand when needed which he will always be remembered for.
Joe was a loving parent, grandparent and sibling to daughter Christina Hernandez of Wall, granddaughter Ella also of Wall, Karen Foran and husband Mike of Howell, sister Rosemary Scott of Toms River. He is also survived by his long time loving caretaker Gail Salzer of Wall along with many family members and friends, and was preceded in death by his Father William E. Yehle, mother Elizabeth Golden Yehle, and his brother Robert Yehle.
A funeral service will be held privately with family.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Wall First Aid and Rescue Squad PO Box 1105 Wall NJ 07719 in Joseph Yehle's memory.
The family would like to express their gratitude to Tower Lodge Care Center for their compassionate care.
Joe will be deeply missed by all who knew him, and his memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
Services are entrusted to Jersey Shore Cremation, 43 Taylor Avenue, Manasquan, NJ.
