Josephine Domiano Accomando, of Hammond, Louisiana, passed away Tuesday, June 14, 2016, at Richard Murphy Hospice House. Josephine was born in Independence. The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Richard Murphy Hospice House, Landmark Nursing Center and North Oaks Hospital. Surviving are daughters & sons-in-law, Paulette A. West and Keith Fuller, Josie A. Rogers and Bobby Rogers, Anna A. Bankston and Bo Bankston; son and his fiance', Salvadore Accomando and Veronica Ridgedell; sisters, Rosie Stephens, Mary Pecoraro and Antoinotte and Albert Peco; brother, Johnny Domiano; brother & sister-in-law, Shorty and Nancy Domiano; grandchildren, Chad, Desiree, Kaela, JoAnna, Elston, Joseph, Christopher, Lisa, Stephanie, BobbieJo, and Elsie; also survived by numerous great and great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by husband, Joe T. Accomando; parents, Felix Domiano and Mary Montalbano Domiano; sisters, Jenny Barcia, Paulina Perez, Lena Autin, and Maggie Wilkinson; brothers, Bo, Phillip, Tony and Nick Domiano; great-grandsons, Troy Preston "T.J." Redman, Caleb and Chase Bankston. Friends will be received Friday, June 17, 2016 from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Hammond, and at Holy Ghost Catholic Church from 9:00 a.m. until services on Saturday. Funeral services will be held at Holy Ghost Catholic Church, Saturday, June 18, 2016 at 11:00 am. Interment will follow in Rose Memorial Park Cemetery, Hammond, Louisiana.
