Josephine M. Adam

Josephine M. Adam, age 93, of North Versailles, died February 25, 2025, at Grandview Estates. Born March 25, 1931, in Donora, PA. She was the daughter of the late Manuel and Josephine Paredes and the wife of the late Fred "Fritz" J. Adam.
Josephine dedicated her working years to Kroger, where she served with pride in the meat department and as a cashier. Her warm smile made her a favorite among customers and colleagues alike. Beyond her professional life, she was a devoted member of St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, where her faith and community ties flourished. In her leisure time, Josephine delighted in visiting family, sharing laughter and meals with friends during shopping trips and lunch outings, and enjoying the thrill of the casinos. Her zest for life and her love for others were evident in how she embraced every moment.
Josephine is survived by her brother, William "Puff" Paredes; her dear friend, Andrew Thorton; and many beloved nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by her sister, Sylvia (Ted) Sthal; brother, Robert "Chut" (Mimi) Paredes; sister-in-law, Donna Paredes; brothers-in-law, Louis (Helen) Adam, Julius (Catherine) Adam, George (Mary Lou) Adam, Paul (Elizabeth) Katona; sisters-in-law, Eleanor (Edmund) Lis, Helen (Albert) Ross, Ethel (Alvin) Arvin, Mary (Clarence) Wilcox
