Josephine Marie Bak

Josephine Marie (Gannon) Bak, 93, a long-time resident of Collingswood and Haddon Township, NJ, passed away at Jefferson Hospital on December 6, 2025. Josephine was born in Philadelphia, PA, on June 13, 1932, as the fourth of six siblings. She is the last remaining child in her family. Josephine married Walter Bak in 1954, and they were married for 70 years. She leaves behind five living children, Walter (Lynn); Mary; Michael (Donna); William (Veronica); and Carolyn McLaughlin (Michael); as well as her son-in-law Michael Doyle (Eileen), eleven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Josephine was predeceased by her husband Walter; daughter Virginia Sinclair Doyle; her parents, Collette and William S. Gannon; and siblings Bill, Mary, Collette, Harry and Helen.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation held on Thursday, December 11, 2025, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at St. Vincent Pallotti Church (St. Joseph the Worker Parish), 901 Hopkins Rd., Haddon Township, NJ. A mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 am. Interment will be at Lakeview Memorial Park in Riverton, NJ. The family will host a celebration immediately after the interment.
